The job of a leader is to set goals and guide their teams to achieve those goals. Goals that generate value over the long-term will be expressed in ambitious, purposeful and holistic terms, covering financial, operational, cultural, customer and succession objectives. Without highly-focused and sustained leadership and team effort, value-building goals cannot be achieved.
rogenSi’s Vision to Results (VTR) framework helps leaders:
- implement business planning strategies and tactics
- drive change initiatives through an organisation
- focus on the leadership activities needed to deliver results
- ensure teams are engaged, aligned, empowered and accountable.
To achieve business goals leaders have to take their teams on a value-building journey, working together to simultaneously delight staff and customers, create internal efficiency and build the platform for future growth. The journey begins with the development and communication of a vision right through to the achievement of the planned-for results.
We believe the activities that make up this journey are so heavily interdependent (and leaders and their teams so easily distracted from them by day-to-day demands) that they need to be anchored in a common, logical and thoughtfully prioritised model of execution in order to sustain the focus needed to get the right things done at the right time
The VTR framework is a proprietary consulting and coaching model grounded in 20 years of experience that helps leaders deliver results. The framework enables leaders and their teams to work in the most aligned, efficient and effective manner possible.

Vision to Results has a clear results focus
It incorporates...
- Four core phases of results-orientated leadership work
- Setting the direction
- Engaging and exciting the team
- Executing plans
- Sustaining performance momentum.
Working with the Vision to Results framework
There are a variety of ways in which the VTR framework can be used to help leaders achieve their goals. These include:
- Leadership diagnostic (inc online survey as described below)
The framework provides a valuable lens through which to assess the direction and quality of the existing leadership activity at a team or organisational level. It enables leaders to pinpoint both the areas where they may need to place additional emphasis in their work as well as the order of priority for their leadership work.
- Leadership facilitation and consulting
We use the VTR framework to direct and guide sessions with individual leaders and leadership teams as they seek to align their activity with their organisational goals and ensure they have identified and respond to those things that will be most supportive of them achieving their goals.
Using the VTR framework when coaching individual leaders provides them with both a tool that they can continually apply in their day-to-day roles and also a form of ‘checklist’ to ensure the coaching work focuses in a very practical manner on the areas of most critical performance need.
- Leadership development guide
VTR covers the full spectrum of leadership performance – from the setting of the direction to the production of the targeted results. Accordingly it provides a very powerful tool to establish context and direct leadership development activity, in and out of the classroom.
Benefits of using the Vision to Results framework
The VTR framework gives leaders the best possible shot at successfully delivering their targeted results. By working through the 10 elements of the framework, leaders will come away with:
- an understanding of where they should spend their time and effort
- greater leadership alignment and the ability to consistently articulate the company’s vision and strategy
- clarity of the critical leadership activities necessary to achieve company goals
- understanding that accountability is necessary to make the results reality and that actions to build energy and sustain momentum in the wider team must be agreed.
Vision to Results Survey
The VTR survey is an online diagnostic tool that allows leaders to gauge how their team currently views performance and outcomes across the 10 critical areas of leadership activity that drive the delivery of results. It also assists leaders in identifying and responding to factors that are helping or hindering both their own and their team’s performance.
The survey comprises 60 questions (six for each of the 10 leadership activity areas) and detailed reports that are used as a tool to open up an objective, results-oriented discussion and initiatives that will tighten the focus and raise the quality of the leadership team’s performance.
