Its consultants have supported virtually all central government departments and major agencies, together with numerous local authorities, utility services and other publicly funded bodies. Hedra is a fast-growing organisation that has more than doubled in size over the last three years.

Co-Management Opportunity

Hedra’s consultants have an uncommonly high level of academic and professional qualifications and an average of more than 15 years’ consultancy experience. The firm’s rapid growth created the need to provide a high standard of professional training and development that would support Hedra’s unrivalled reputation for excellent training delivery, as well as attracting and retaining high-calibre employees. RogenSi successfully tendered to be the organisation’s core learning and development provider designing, delivering and co-managing the formal classroom-based training of Hedra’s consultants.

RogenSi’s Approach

Training interventions were designed to complement Hedra’s existing competency framework and mesh within an overall development strategy, which incorporated learning, working, coaching and sponsored professional development.

RogenSi conducted diagnostic and design work to deliver intensive business-skill training modules that are tailored, repeatable and supported by handout materials, lesson plans, learning outcomes and practical exercises. The learning modules, targeted at all staff from junior to executive level, are:

  • Critical Communication (1 Day)
  • Negotiation, Influencing and Assertiveness Skills (2 Days)

  • Coaching Skills (2 Days)

  • Introduction to Selling Skills (2 Days)

  • Advanced Selling Skills (2 Days)

  • Self Awareness: Impact on Self and Others (2 Days)

Results

Although Hedra is responsible for the delivery of the above programs, RogenSi maintains overall quality control. The project has been an outstanding success, and Hedra’s satisfaction is reflected in its invitation to RogenSi to co-bid on change management tenders.
